Petitioner is in custody since 23.09.2016 in connection with Goreakothi P.S. Case No. 81 of 2016 registered under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has not been named in the F.I.R. rather the name of the petitioner has been surfaced in the re-statement of the informant, which falsifies the allegation leveled against this petitioner. Nothing incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner nor the petitioner has been put on T.I.P. till date. Moreover, the petitioner is rotting in custody for the last four months.
