The petitioner being the husband of the victim has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in custody since 19.06.2012. The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after five years of the marriage for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.
The report of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Patna dated 11.09.2014 reflects that five witnesses have already examined and the trial is likely to be concluded by end of December, 2014.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35453 of 2014 (03) dt.18-02-2015 2/2 It is submitted by learned counsel for the informant that still I.O. and doctor have not been examined. Let the S.S.P., Patna produce the I.O. and the doctor on the next date fixed in Sessions Trial No. 1312 of 2012 arising out of Shastri Nagar P.S. Case No. 173 of 2012. It is expected from the learned trial court to conclude the trial expeditiously.
Considering the advance stage of the trial, this Court is not inclined to interfere. Accordingly, this application is disposed of.
