1. The State of Bihar .... .... Opposite Party/s ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MIHIR KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 20-02-2015 Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Having regard to the fact that the petitoners have happily absconded for a period of four years from the date of cognizance in respect of alleged offence under Section 147, 148, 323, 341, 334 and 380 of Indian Penal Code, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them even on the basis that co-accused Baliram Singh and Krishna Singh had been granted the privilege of anticipatory bail inasmuch as they had moved this Court way back in the year 2011 and were granted anticipatory bail by order dated 25.11.2011 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 39529 of 2011. As a matter of fact the Sessions Judge has also noted that prayer for anticipatory bail of co-accused Dilip Singh and others have also been rejected on 21.04.2010 whereafter they were granted regular bail.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36484 of 2014 (2) dt.20-02-2015 That being so, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is hereby rejected.
