The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Atri P.S. Case No. 82 of 2004 registered under Sections 147, 148, 302, 149, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 27 of the Arms Act.

There is direct allegation against the petitioner who shot fire upon the nephew of the informant by which he succumbed to injury.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is hereby rejected.
