2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Informant is owner of Shree Hira Jewelry shop and he received a ransom call of Rs. Five lakhs and threatening of dire consequences if he fails to pay .

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor any concerned with the mobile number from which ransom call was made. This is case of year 2017 and after six years petitioner has been remanded in this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62620 of 2023(2) dt.05-10-2023 2/2 case. Petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 9.6.2023.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. 4th (West), Muzaffarpur in connection with Saraiya PS Case No. 311 of 2017.
