2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Agiaon Bazaar P.S. Case No. 114 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109(1), 117(2) and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code. Section 103(1) of the BNS was added later.

3. The accused persons are said to have assaulted the prosecution which has resulted in the death of one person and one more person is struggling for his life in the hospital.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 18.03.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the allegation levelled against the petitioner as well as the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
