The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Naya Ram Nagar P.S. Case No.163 of 2016/G.R. No.2003 of 2016 registered under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act. The accusation is of recovery of 1.7 kilograms Ganja from the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that the alleged recovery of Ganja was not made from the conscious possession of the petitioner rather the same is said to be made from the house of the petitioner. The petitioner is a lady and her husband has also

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2471 of 2017 (2) dt.07-02-2017 2/2 been made accused in this case. The petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 05.11.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sessions Judge, Munger, in connection with Naya Ram Nagar P.S. Case No.163 of 2016.
