The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 498(A) & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that this petitioner alongwith other F.I.R. named accused persons subjected ill-treatment and cruelty to the informant for dowry.

Petitioner is father of second wife of informant's husband. Specific allegation of illegal demand and torture is against husband of the informant and other in-laws members. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the family affairs of couple.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of petitioner.

No.66504 of 2022(3) dt.07-04-2023 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Madhubani in connection with Pandaul P.S. Case No. 60 of 2022, corresponding to G.R. No. 513 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
