Patna High Court CWJC No.9830 of 2015(2) dt.18-08-2023 2/3 following relief(s):- "1.(i). Quashing memo nos. 31; 24; 27; 26; 23; 29; 28 & 30 dated 14.2.15 issued under the signature of respdt. No. 5 (Officer on Special Duty cum Secretary Lodging House Committee Gaya) removing petitioners no. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8 respectively from their post and engagement under the Lodging House Committee Gaya improperly. The petitioners, who were serving under respondent no. 4 (some of whom since from more than 2 decades), have been removed from engagement in retaliation to the orders of the Hon'ble Court and in unjustified way, while keeping their application for absorption in regular establishment pending.
ii). For a direction to the respondents to absorb / appoint petitioners on any sanctioned vacant class IV posts under Gaya Collectorate, while giving them relaxation of age and benefit of preferences for their past engagement, wherein a large number of posts are vacant for which advertisement was issued in 2013 also but no appointment could be made against it till now."
At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
