1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For the issuance of an appropriate writ to quash the notice issued by the S.H.O., Hasanpur Police Station, Respondent no.4, dated 21.6.2015 directing the petitioner to deposit his license of D.B.B.L. Gun in the police station(contained in Ann-5).

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate order/ direction/ directing the Respondent no.2 to dispose the representation filed by petitioner (contained in Annexure-6).

(iii) For issuance of an appropriate order, directing to stay the operation of

Patna High Court CWJC No.9900 of 2015(3) dt.12-09-2024 2/2 the notice contained in Annexure-5."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
