The petitioner seeks bail in S. Kamal P.S. Case No. 219/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the FIR. Eight persons were intercepted the informant. One Irshaduzamma @ Anna was apprehended with arms and ammunitions and he confessed his guilt and disclosed the name of the petitioner. Anna confessed that he along with other accused persons committed theft. The petitioner was also apprehended and made confessional statement. Except the confessional statement the police did not collect any further evidence. The petitioner is in jail since 12.01.2015 but he has not been put on Test Identification Parade.
