The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 376, 379, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are persons with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that she was married to Chandan in the year 2019, further after marriage she came to know that Chandan was having illicit relationship with Neelam and when she complained about the same to the petitioners, it is alleged that

No.58571 of 2022(2) dt.14-11-2022 2/3 petitioners abused her and were adamant to perform Chandan's marriage with Neelam in greed of dowry, it is next alleged that they also assured the informant that they will get her married to their younger son Kunal, it is further alleged that on 10.11.2021, when her husband and in-laws had gone to Kurzi, Danapur, Kunal established physical relation without her consent and when she pressurized the accused person to marry her to Kunal she was ousted from her matrimonial home.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case, it is next submitted that the allegation hinges around absurdity, it is next submitted that it absolutely does not stand to reason when the informant was married to Chandan how could she have agreed for marrying Kunal, this amply demonstrates that since her relationship with her husband was strained, as such she has implicated the entire family members, it is also submitted that petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned trial court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.58571 of 2022(2) dt.14-11-2022 3/3 within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Jehanabad Mahila P.S. Case No. 14 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
