The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Khiri More P.S. Case No.04 of 2015 registered under Sections 304B, 120B, 201, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. No specific allegation is made against the petitioner rather general and omnibus allegation has been made in the F.I.R. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner stating that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased. It is alleged that the petitioner along with other
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60966 of 2022(2) dt.03-01-2023 2/2 accused persons murdered the informant's daughter for dowry and disappeared her dead body. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail.
Having considered the above facts and nature of allegation made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
