JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 15-09-2025 Heard learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Union of Indiana and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 21(c), 22(c) and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per prosecution case, 426 cartoons of illegal narcotic substance was recovered from the rented house of this petitioner.

4. It is submitted by learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62295 of 2025(2) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 has committed no offence. No incriminating article has been recovered from possession and he has falsely been implicated in this case merely on suspicion. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

On the other hand, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Union of Indiana and learned A.P.P. for the State have vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that huge quantity of narcotic substance was recovered from the rented house of this petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of accusation and recovery of huge quantity of contraband substance, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
