JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 29-08-2018 Considering the grievance of the petitioner as to the grant of time bound promotion to the post of Reader/Associate professor, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file exhaustive representation before the University indicating therein that in terms of the time bound promotion scheme which was available up to 23.09.1995, the petitioner was eligible for grant of promotion on account of his absorption in the service of the University. In case, such representation is filed by the petitioner alongwith a copy of this order, the University will place the case of the petitioner before the appropriate statutory committee for examination of the claim of the petitioner for grant of promotion as Reader/Associate Professor under the time bound promotion scheme which continued up to 23.09.1995 when the time bound promotion
Patna High Court CWJC No.20563 of 2011(6) dt.29-08-2018 2/2 scheme was by Career Advancement Scheme.
The University is expected to take final decision within a period of four months from the date of filing such representation in accordance with the existing norms of promotion available up to 23.09.1995.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
