Both the aforesaid applications arise out of the same P.S.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6521 of 2017 (5) dt.03-05-2017 2/2 Case bearing Ekma P.S. Case No.178 of 2016 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Therefore, both the aforesaid applications have been heard together and are being disposed of by this common order.
The accusation is that both the petitioners got deposited the forged cheque of Rs.9,73,000/- and Rs.5,76,000/- respectively of the account holders of the UCO Bank, Ekma Branch, namely, Ajay Kumar Singh and Special Officer, Nagar Parishad, Chapra, in their accounts at UCO Bank, Ekma Branch, and withdrew the said amount. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners having no criminal antecedents are in custody since 04.11.2016 and 02.11.2016 respectively. Moreover, the chargesheet has already been submitted against the petitioners. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Ekma P.S. Case No.178 of 2016.
