This is an application for bail in connection with Gamhariya P.S.Case No. 161 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 364/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and nothing specific has been attributed to him and similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this Court. Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and considering the fact that the case is of the year 2013 and he was apprehended in October, 2016, as such, it appears that he was absconding for a period of about three years. I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5969 of 2017 (3) dt.07-04-2017 2/2 Prayer for bail is rejected.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of six months. If the trial is not concluded within the said period, petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
