2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 209/2024 dated 01.06.2024 registered for the offence punishable u/s 302 and 201 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized with the co-accused, Manoj Sharma and from the wedlock, three children were born. It is alleged that the petitioner and the co-accused persons strangulated the daughter of the informant to death and also cremated her dead body without giving any information to the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59886 of 2025(2) dt.02-09-2025 2/2 possession of the petitioner. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner who is the father-in-law of the deceased. The other co-accused person has already been granted anticipatory bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this court vide order dated 04.03.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 7867/2025. Learned counsel has submitted that the deceased was ill for a long time and on the way to the hospital she died. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Nautan P.S. Case No. 209/2024.

7. The application stands allowed.
