1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.i) Commanding respondents to regularize break in service of the petitioners caused due to their removal from their post in 2014 and their reinstatement in 2016 and for treating services of

Patna High Court CWJC No.14162 of 2023(2) dt.26-02-2024 2/3 petitioners regular and continuous from initial appointment till retirement on reaching superannuation for extending them all service benefits of salary / increments and other benefits based on the basis of length of the service.

ii) Commanding respondents to grant & extend benefit of ACP to the petitioners for which they became entitled but the respondents have not considered their cases for granting them ACP as yet.

iii) The petitioners pray for direction to the respondents to grant terms of (i) and (ii) above all consequential benefits of enhanced salary with its arrears and consequential difference in terminal benefits payable to the petitioners.

iv) The petitioners prays for direction to the respondents to pay all consequential monetary benefits along with interest @ 12% and cost of the case immediately or within a time frame fixed by the Hon'ble Court since respondents themselves are attributable for not regularizing petitioners' service in terms of Service Rules in time and considering their cases for ACP Rules which have caused great hardships to the petitioners."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Gaya, for redressal of their
