Following is the relief, sought for, by the petitioner in the present writ application:
" (i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus/order/direction commanding the Respondents no. 2 to grant benefit of the scheduled casts and schedules tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules 1995 Rule 12(4) Annexures 45 and 46. That the petitioner is entitled for the Murder benefits because husband of the petitioner belonged to scheduled caste.
(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus/order/direction to the Respondent No. 2 granting any other relief or reliefs for which petitioner is found entitled to".
It has been submitted that for redressal of her grievance, the petitioner has filed a representation before the
Patna High Court CWJC No.14181 of 2016(3) dt.07-01-2019 2/2 District Magistrate, Jehanabad (respondent No. 2) vide Annexure-5 to the writ application. On the basis of said representation, part payment has already been made by the concerned respondents.
The petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the Collector, Jahenabad (respondent No. 2) within 30 days from the date of order. The said representation shall be disposed of by the respondent No. 2 within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
