The petitioners seek bail in Tandwa P.S. Case No. 61/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(Ka) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

Both the petitioners were apprehended while they were coming on a motorcycle carrying 330 pouches each containing 200 m.l. of country-made liquor.

It appears that about 66 litres of country-made liquor was being carried by both the petitioners on a motorcycle and for that the petitioners are in jail since 03.12.2016. The petitioners have already remained in jail for about four months. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioners above-
