JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 13-08-2015 The petitioner is a PDS dealer within Paru block of Muzaffarpur district. He prays for quashing order dated 10.11.2011, issued by the SDO, West Muzaffarpur cancelling his licence merely on the ground that he did not file reply to the show cause notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the SDO ought to have given some reasons for cancelling licence. In that view of the matter, the impugned order cancelling petitioner's PDS licence, is set aside and the matter is remitted to the Licencing officer for fresh consideration. It will open for the petitioner to file show cause reply with a period of four weeks.
