JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 09-07-2018 The grievance of the petitioner in this Public Interest Litigation is that a road under the Pradhanmantri Road Scheme is being constructed on the Newazi Bigha road and the same passes through a canal which is the source of irrigation of the villagers in question. Inter alia contending that construction of the road over the canal and obstructing the canal is not permissible, the writ petition has been filed. If that be so, we direct the District Magistrate-cumCollector, Nalanda, respondent no. 2, to look into the grievance of the petitioner and ensure that construction of the road takes
