Mandal University.
2. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking pension and other retiral benefits of her late husband,
Patna High Court CWJC No.13498 of 2023(5) dt.02-04-2024 2/3 who died in harness on 10.11.2017, while working as a Store Keeper in K.B. Jha College, Katihar under B.N. Mandal University.
3. Learned counsel for the B.N. Mandal University submits that the pension papers of the petitioner's late husband is required to be forwarded by the authorities of the Purnea University upon which the B.N. Mandal University authorities will make necessary payment of the pension and other retiral benefits of the pensioner's late husband.

Learned counsel for the Purnea Univesity, by referring to the counter affidavit filed submits that since the liability to pay the pension and other retiral benefits of the petitioner's late husband is by the B.N. Mandal University authorities, the authorities of the Purnea University have no difficulty in forwarding the necessary pension papers of the pensioner's late husband to the B.N. Mandal University.
5. After hearing learned counsels for the parties, this writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, Purnea University to forward the pension papers of the petitioner's late husband to the Registrar, B.N. Mandal University, Katihar within a week from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order of this Court, whereafter Registrar,
Patna High Court CWJC No.13498 of 2023(5) dt.02-04-2024 3/3 B.N. Mandal University shall make the payment of pension as well as other retiral benefits alongwith admissible statutory interest, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the pension papers of the petitioner's late husband from the Registrar, Purnea University.
6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
