That this application is being filed for a direction upon the respondents to remove the encroachment made over the bank and basement of the over bridge, which connects Muzaffarpur and Sitamarhi District at Tangraha and Olipur village situated at Thana no.576 and 237, Minapur and Runni Saidpur of Muzaffarpur and Sitamarhi District respectively, which is causing serious difficulty to the local villagers as the said encroachment is obstructing free flow of rainy water and flood water."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondent No. 5 i.e. the Circle Officer, Minapur Block, District-Muzaffarpur, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
