"18. That the respondents ought to have promoted the petitioner on the vacant post of Senior Radiographer and if not on that post, then on the post of ECG Technician which carries a higher scale of pay than X-ray Technician.

19. That the petitioner ought to have been promoted as Senior Radiographer whose pay scale on 01.01.1996 was Rs.55009000. The petitioner was getting Rs.45007000 as X-ray Technician whereas the pay of ECG Technician is Rs.5000-8000 on 01.01.1996.

20. That the petitioner should have been promoted to the post of Senior Radiographer for which promotion the petitioner was eligible and grant him the pay scale of Rs.5500-9000 from 1.1.1996, the date from which Shrawan Kr. Pathak, Junior to the petitioner was granted the above scale.

21. That the petitioner should be paid pay 20% extra pay from 1974 to 1996 as the petitioner was trained on E.C.G.

MACHINE in 1974."(sic) The writ petition reveals that without raising these claims before the authorities, the petitioner has directly rushed to this Court.

Writ application is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek the relief from the appropriate authority by making a representation.
