Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
From the possession of the petitioners, riding on a motorcycle, 13.2 litres of Nepali liquor was recovered. The petitioners are in custody since 20.02.2017 and have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail, on completion of three months of custody, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15892 of 2017 (3) dt.15-05-2017 2/2 satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari/successor Court in connection with Raxaul Police Station Case No. 34 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
