2. The instant writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents authorities to pay the retirement-cum-pension benefits as well as dues arrears of salary to the petitioner with 18% compound interest, which has not been paid to the petitioner, who is said to have retired on 31.01.2025.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that all

Patna High Court CWJC No.13712 of 2025(2) dt.14-11-2025 2/3 the requisite documents, which is required for settlement of pension and pensionary benefits, have already been submitted and appropriate representation has also been filed before the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department, P.H. Division, Hilsa, Nalanda on 25.07.2025, but till date no action has been taken.

4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that petitioner may be directed to file appropriate representation giving details of all his claim and as also the supportive documents, for taking a final decision with regard to pension and pensionary benefits.

Considering the submissions of the parties, this Court is of the opinion that it would be proper to direct the authorities to decide the claim of the petitioner, on submission of detailed representation, in continuation of the earlier representation dated 25.07.2025 and on submission of such representation within a period of six weeks the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department, P.H. Division, Hilsa, Nalanda shall pass necessary orders and settle the claim of the petitioner within further period of six weeks thereafter and all admissible amount shall be settled by passing a reasoned and speaking orders within the same period.

6. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
