The petitioner seeks bail in Chhabilapur P.S. Case No. 44/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 139 of Electricity Act and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The name of the petitioner figured in the case during the investigation of the case and petitioner is also said to have confessed his guilt, but nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is also said to have fled away from the car along with other co-accused. From the car, one loaded country-made pistol, some electric wire etc. were recovered.
