The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No.131 of 2014 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. as on the basis of the written report of one Sanjay Kumar, the present case was lodged against Raushan Kumar. In course of investigation, it has come in the statement of the Officer Incharge, Rajepur, that this petitioner was associate of Raushan Kumar. Except that, there is nothing against the petitioner to show his involvement in the present case. The petitioner is in custody since 22.07.2016
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.13393 of 2017 (3) dt.10-05-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana at Dhaka, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Rajepur P.S. Case No.131 of 2014. Out of the two sureties, one must be close relative of the petitioner, who will file an affidavit giving genealogy as to how he/she is related with the petitioner. The bailors will undertake to furnish information to the court about any change in the address of the petitioner.
