Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64200 of 2024(3) dt.16-12-2024 2/3 of the informant tried to save her, this petitioner assaulted her by knife causing injury on her left hand. The petitioner also assaulted brother-in-law (Devar) of the informant causing injury on his right hand.
4. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner are that in between both the parties there is case and counter case, admittedly, there was a land dispute in between them during the relevant time of the occurrence and petitioner is an injured in the case lodged on behalf of the petitioner's side against the prosecution party.

7. As per the allegation, the petitioner inflicted knife blows on the informant and her brother-in-law and their injury reports available with the case diary clearly show that they sustained sharp cut injuries, though, their injuries have been opined to be simple in nature but considering the nature of allegation appearing against the petitioner and also the fact that the investigation is pending against him, this court is not inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64200 of 2024(3) dt.16-12-2024 3/3 Accordingly, his prayer stands rejected.
