Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30,30(a),38,41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Huge quantity of liquor was recovered from a vehicle, however, the petitioner was not there. Allegation is that the liquor was of the petitioner. Petitioner has got a long list of criminal cases under Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Considering the entire facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail if the trial is not concluded within six months from the date of framing of the charges on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56142 of 2019(2) dt.06-09-2019 2/2 learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Masrakh Police Station Case No.309 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
