The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Kanti P.S.Case No.145 of 2014 registered under Sections 302, 120B and 34 IPC.
The informant alleged that the petitioner had intimacy with the deceased, who was running a general Store. He employed sales-woman Reema Devi. The petitioner asked the deceased to remove Reema Devi from the post of sales-woman but the deceased did not agree on which the petitioner threatened to eliminate him within two or three days. The dead body of the deceased was found by the side of the road.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that except suspicion, the Investigating Officer has not collected any material to show that the petitioner committed the murder of the deceased Ved Prakash @ Bipin Kumar Rai. The petitioner is working in a Hospital.
From perusal of the record, it appears that the witnesses have stated that the petitioner, who had intimate relation with the deceased, was insisting to remove Reema Devi from the shop but
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40908 of 2014 (5) dt.06-05-2015 2/2 the deceased did not agree due to which the petitioner threatened to kill the deceased. The deceased was killed and his dead body was thrown by the side of the road.
Considering the fact that there is strong suspicion against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail and accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) ahk/- U T
