The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, while the informant was sitting in his office it is stated that the accused Sunny entered his office and shot at him with a pistol. Although the first shot missed the informant, the second shot hit him in the right hand and chest. Thinking the informant to have died, he went away. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. The allegation of firing is solely against co-accused Sunny. Referring to the order of the learned trial court, it is submitted that no incriminating material has transpired against the petitioner in course of investiga-

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations in the FIR according to which the sole allegation of firing is on co-accused Sunny and not the petitioner herein together with the petitioner having remained in custody for 9 months and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with K.Hat P.S. Case no. 746 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea.
