The instant application for anticipatory bail has been filed by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Town P.S. Case no. 609 of 2021 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation in the FIR, daughter of the informant is traceless. Informant has suspicion that petitioner and his family members have killed her daughter and fled away after locking the house.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. She has herself eloped from her house on the pretext of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71037 of 2021(3) dt.06-07-2022 2/2 purchasing vegetables from a nearby market. At the time of leaving the home by the victim, petitioner was at his duty. There is no any complain regarding torture for dowry. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer of bail and submitted that wife of the petitioner is still traceless and it is the responsibility of husband to take care of his wife.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration that victim lady is still traceless, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and, as such, his application for bail is rejected. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U
