This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 419 and 420 of the Penal Code.

There is allegation that Rs.8,28,097/- was required to be returned by the petitioner as the amount meant for various Government's. the learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that the District Magistrate, Munger, has assessed the amount to the tune of Rs.6,50,000/-, as in the six schemes the petitioner was paid Rs.21,22,500/- and as per the measurement book the petitioner has done the work of Rs.14/- lakh and odd and still Rs.6,50,000/- remained due with the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner, however, contends that the petitioner has also paid Rs.97,868/-.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39884 of 2014 (2) dt.22-04-2015 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
