The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Dhankund P.S. Case No. 117 of 2021 registered under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the I.P.C. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to land dispute. Further he submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that there is direct allegation of assault on the head of the informant by means of Khanti, as a result of which, the informant sustained head injury.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61228 of 2022(2) dt.03-01-2023 2/2 corroborates the same. Hence, the petitioner does not deserve to be enlarged on anticipatory bail.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the allegation as well as the submissions advanced on behalf of the State, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
