2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 137(2), 64, 336(3), 61(2), 113(2), 351(2), 351(3), 352, 126(2), 89, 329(3) and 118(1) of the B.N.S., Section 6 of the POCSO Act and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The prosecution case, in brief is that on 28.04.2025, when minor daughter of informant was alone at her home, in the meantime, this petitioner, along with other F.I.R. named accused persons, entered into her house, brought the victim to his house for attending a worship ceremony and thereafter, took her to a

It is further alleged that this petitioner kept the victim in Bhagalpur for one month and committed rape as a result of which the victim got pregnant and thereafter, he gave an abortion pill to the victim which resulted in her abortion and later on, left her at Karhagola station and fled away. The victim in her statement recorded before the police and under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S. has supported the prosecution case.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation and statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
