JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 15-03-2023 The present petition has been filed for modification of the order dated 27.10.2021 passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 141 of 2021 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners could not furnish the bail bonds on time since petitioner No. 2 was seriously ill. Since, vide order dated 27.10.2021, the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail whereas, the present modification petition seeking extension of time was filed on 13.03.2023, the petitioners are directed to deposit a sum of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16753 of 2023(2) dt.15-03-2023 2/2 Rs. 10,000/- each before the District Legal Services Authority of concerned district.

Accordingly, the period of surrender is extended further for a period of four weeks from today. The bail bonds of the petitioner will be accepted by the learned Court below on showing receipt of deposit of Rs. 10,000/- each before the D.L.S.A. of concerned district. The order dated 27.10.2021 passed in Criminal Appeal (SJ) No. 141 of 2021 stands modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, the petition stands allowed.
