The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 448, 323, 354(A), 307, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/ 4 of the Witch Practices Act.

It is alleged against the petitioner that he entered into the house of the informant, abused her by calling her a witch and told to treat his son and when the informant opposed, she was assaulted and her modesty was outraged. When the husband and son of the

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that at earlier point of time, the mother of the petitioner had registered Khaira P.S. Case No. 158 of 2021 against the husband and son of the informant under Sections 341, 323, 307, 337, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Hence, in order to put pressure upon the petitioner, this false case has been registered against the petitioner. The injury report suggests the injuries to be simple in nature. In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in
