2. With the consent both of the parties, the present writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the reliefs claimed for in the present writ application the petitioner has already filed a representation dated 02.06.2016 before the District Magistrate, Jehanabad (Annexure-3/A), which is still pending.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued to

Patna High Court CWJC No.15857 of 2016(4) dt.27-06-2025 2/3 the District Magistrate, Jehanabad to dispose of the representation on merit, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The counsel for the petitioner further that the petitioner may also be granted the liberty to file a supplementary representation, through which the petitioner wants to bring on record the copy of the counter affidavit filed in the present case, which as per him supports the case of the petitioner.

5. The aforesaid prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by the respondentsState.

6. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of directing the District Magistrate, Jehanabad to disposed of the representation dated 02.06.2016 (Annexure-3/A) filed by the petitioner on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

7. The petitioner is granted liberty to file a supplementary representation bringing on record a copy of the counter affidavit filed by the respondents-State in the present case in order to support his case. The District Magistrate, Jehanabad while disposing of the representation of the petitioner

Patna High Court CWJC No.15857 of 2016(4) dt.27-06-2025 3/3 will also consider the submission made by the petitioner in the supplementary representation and also the submission of the respondents-State in the counter affidavit.

8. The entire exercise is directed to be concluded within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of this order by the petitioner. It is made clear that the supplementary representation shall be filed by the petitioner within two weeks from today.

9. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application is disposed of granting liberty as aforesaid.
