JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH) 16-04-2026 It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the O.P. Nos. 10 and 11, i.e. the authorities of the National Insurance Company, by referring to the supplementary show cause filed in the present case on 08.10.2025 that 65 claims of the petitioner have already stood paid and now only 4 claims totaling to a sum of Rs. 38,700/- are pending and float has been raised, whereas all the other 18 claims have been rejected and denied, apart from the fact that 11 claims belong to non-serving Districts.

2. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at least the O.P. Nos. 10 and 11 be

Patna High Court MJC No.2100 of 2022(9) dt.16-04-2026 3/3 directed to pay the balance amount of Rs. 38,700/- with regard to the pending four claims and the petitioner be granted liberty to agitate his subsisting grievances by availing such remedies as and otherwise available under the law.

3. While giving liberty to the petitioner to avail such remedies as are otherwise available under the law for redressal of his subsisting grievances, we direct the O.P. Nos. 10 and 11 to process the pending four claims totaling to a sum of Rs. 38,700/- and make payment of the same within a period of four weeks from today.

4. Accordingly, the present contempt petition stands disposed of.
