It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that despite an application for grant of arms licence having been filed in the year 2015 itself, the matter has been kept pending by the licensing authority.

Accordingly, I dispose of the writ application directing the District Magistrate, Aurangabad to take a decision upon the application of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with
