Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mojahidpur P.S. Case No. 188 of 2016 registered under Section 30A of Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is not concerned with the aforesaid recovery as he was not aware of the business of sale of illicit liquor being done by his father. Petitioner is in custody since 23.10.2016.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8618 of 2017 (3) dt.21-03-2017 2/2 case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Mojahidpur P.S. Case No. 188 of 2016.
