The petitioner is in custody in connection with Pirbahor P.S. Case No. 366 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 420, 274, 275, 276, 467, 468, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27(b), 28(A), 28(B), 30(C) of Drugs and Cosmetic Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 7.07.2019. He further submits that allegation against this petitioner is that he has supplied Cifran CT. He further submits that the aforesaid drug is not prohibited one.
