JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-08-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the petitioner prays for suitable compensation to be granted to him and other persons of the same village including Sri Ganga Mandal, Shankar Mandal, Bijandar Mandal, Bechan Chaudhari, America Devi and Suraj Chaudhari for demolition of their houses which approximately comes to rupees 10 lakhs each and further punish the authorities responsible for demolition of the houses as also impose fine on them."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however,

Patna High Court CWJC No.15147 of 2023(2) dt.07-08-2024 2/2 seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
