JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-04-2019 The petitioner is seeking following relief:- "That the petitioner is a citizen of India and this writ application is being filed for giving a direction to the respondents to prevent the construction of building on the ancestral land of the petitioner."
He asserts in the writ application that his father had
Patna High Court CWJC No.14500 of 2018(2) dt.19-04-2019 2/2 given certain land for the construction of a Panchayat Bhawan. The Panchayat Bhawan is being constructed over the land in question. The petitioner asserts that when his father had provided the land orally for the purpose of construction of Panchayat Bhawan, he was assured that he would be paid due compensation but no compensation has been paid so far. The grievance of the nature can be raised before the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, which he can avail. This application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to the statutory provisions under the said Act.
