The petitioner retired from the post of Assistant Teacher w.e.f. 31.10.2016 from Gyan Bharti High School, Dayalbagh, Nehalpur, Jehanabad. He submits that provident fund has been sanctioned for an amount of Rs. 9,10, 389/- which is Annexure-1 and his Gratuity and commutation value of gratuity has also been calculated and family pension fixed by
Patna High Court CWJC No.13652 of 2018(2) dt.18-12-2018 2/2 the office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna vide P.P.O. dated 13.12.2017 but still payments have not been made and he therefore prays for payment of 12% interest from the date of entitlement till the date of payment along with payment of arrears of pension and pensionary benefits.
Considering the nature of claim made by the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 7, District Provident Fund Officer, Jehanabad and respondent no. 11, Treasury Officer, Jehanabad to make payment of arrears and current pension as well as G.P.F. and gratuity amount along with statutory interest within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
