JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 29-10-2024 Today the matter has been listed under the heading "For Orders (On Petition)". However, on the prayer of the parties, the matter is taken up for its disposal.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent.

3. After advancing argument for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he restricts his prayer only for early disposal of Maintenance Case No. 100/2022 and Matrimonial Case No. 61/2022 pending before the court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Sitamarhi since the petitioner has been making payment of interim maintenance of Rs. 6,000/- to the respondent and there is no dues on this account.

4. The learned counsel for the respondent has got no

5. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Sitamarhi is directed to expedite the proceedings of Maintenance Case No. 100/2022 and Matrimonial Case No. 61/2022 and try to conclude the same on its merits and in accordance with law preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, without adjourning the matter unnecessarily.

6. At the same time, the parties are directed to cooperate in the matter for its early disposal without seeking unnecessary adjournment.

7. With the aforementioned observations and directions, the instant petition stands disposed of.

8. Consequently, I.A. No. 1 of 2024 also stands disposed of.
