JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 03-01-2023 The grievance of the petitioner is that the demarcation case was initiated in 2016-17 vide Measurement Case No. 11/16-17 by the Circle Officer, Fatuha for measurement of the land situated in Plot No. 216, Khata No. 123, Thana No. 23 having an area 11 Decimal of Mauza Raipura within the Block of Fatuha, District-Patna.
The contention of the petitioner is that for the last many years the demarcation case has not yet been decided. Learned counsel for the State submits that Circle Officer may be directed to dispose the demarcation case within a reasonable time frame.
Taking into consideration the fact that the
Patna High Court CWJC No.14424 of 2018(3) dt.03-01-2023 2/2 demarcation case is pending for the last five-six years, the Circle Officer, Fatuha is directed to dispose the Measurement Case No. 11/16-17 within a period of two months positively. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the petition stands disposed of.
